Valentine Cards

Hello Everyone!
It's been awhile since I've posted. Looks like the last time was Halloween. Yikes! Anyway, I've been quite busy today working on some Valentine's Day cards.

Here's how they turned out.

And here is a video explaining how I made them

Halloween Cards

I have been on a halloween craft roll lately so I wanted to share some of the different cards I have been making.
First up, we have a simple card I made using the Cricut Mini Monster image. I love how the googly eyes gives him a little extra cuteness. I also cut the spider web using the same cart.

This next card was made using a digi stamp from Whimsiedoodles. The have the most adorable stamps in my opinion.

Here is a tag.

Last but not least is another simple card. I used tulle for the bow and it adds just the right touch.

Easter Tags

Look at me on a roll with another blog post! I have two more projects to share that I worked on yesterday.
For every holiday I usually make my kids either a card or a tag to go along with a little goodie bag. Lately I have been making tags more than cards. I find it more fun for some reason, not exactly sure why..lol.

So first up is the tag I made for my daughter.
For this tag, the cute little bunny is from a digital kit I purchased online. I cut her out and added stickles to her hairbow and glossy accents to the egg to make it appear more shiny. I also popped her up with pop dots to give some dimension. I then added some background paper, washi tape and various ribbons and lace. Also some little glittery epoxy stickers that remind me of jelly beans.  I am so thankful that I had a least one girl that I could make girly frilly things for..lol.

This next one I made for one of my boys. I haven't decided which one yet. =)
Again, I used a digital image, various ribbons and washi tape and a button with twine. No frilly lace here. Sorry about the lighting on this one, I took this picture at night.

I still need to make two more, but they will look similar to the ones here as far as the image and embellishments that I use.

Another Christmas Card

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share another card that I made last night.

For this card, I used a freebie digi stamp from Whimsie Doodles. It can be found on their website here. I colored the image in using Prismacolor pencils. I decided to go with non traditional colors for this card. The teal polka dot background paper was my inspiration starting point. I added some pink textured paper from DCWV Sweet Stack, a doily and some baker's twine. I then used frosted lace stickles on the snowflakes and added three pearl accents at the bottom. I just love how the colors all came together.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Silly Owls Christmas Card

Just a little Christmas card to share.
The cute little image with the owls is a digi stamp I found on Etsy. Shop name is PinkGemDesigns. I colored them in using my Prismacolors and added frosted lace stickles to their little hats. Background papers are from American Crafts Merrymint line. Sentiment is from a $1 stamp I purchased from Michaels last year.

Baby Boy Card

I spent my entire weekend crafting and only ventured out to one craft store. Yes ONE! It was to Joann's and are you ready for this.. I spent less than.....$10!! ?????? Crazy right??? Impossible you say. Well not so crazy or impossible when you are on a time limit. I had to rush in really quick because we had to go pick up our son from work so I didn't have the proper amount of time to loiter about the store. I secretly think hubby had that planned out.So I ran in and picked up a paper stack that I needed and a couple stamps that caught my eye and got out of Dodge. Actually I am trying to be really good and save my money because at the end of the month the Scrapbook Expo is coming to town. Plus my Joann's is looking pretty sparse. I really hope they will be restocking new stuff soon. It's rather depressing walking in there only to see the same old stuff. Anyway back to my weekend. So it continued to rain all weekend which is another reason I didn't go out. I hate rain. I know it's good for plants and trees and all that but I just find it annoying. Especially when it's torrential rain that gets you soaked to the skin in 0.2 seconds flat which is what we had. So I stayed holed up in my craft room and did a little organizing and a couple projects.

Let me tell you I am on a card making streak....well if you count two as a streak that is. My cousin had her baby boy over the weekend so I made her a card.

I loooove the little baby in the buggy!! He's just so adorably cute. So here is the list of materials I used.

White textured cardstock- Bazzill
Blue Polka Dot cardstock- Nana's Kids DCWV
White Scalloped Circle- Sizzix, embossed with Swiss Dots folder
Baby in Buggy- Cricut Simply Charmed Cart
Tag- Recollections
Stickles- light blue
Baby Boy letters- Cricut Storybook Cart
Trim
Buttons

Have a great Monday!!
